* Find out about the architects who designed the houses, principal buildings and landscapes, and what influenced them;
* Visit the Special Exhibitions Gallery, which changes yearly. Current exhibition Soap and Water opened 22nd March and runs until March 2016.
* Experience what it was like to live and work in Port Sunlight during the Edwardian and Victorian periods;
* Encounter characters from the village’s past;
* Discover Lever’s flair for advertising;
* Understand the terrible loss and sacrifice experienced by the village during the First World War.

Located in the original Girl’s Club building on King George’s Drive, Port Sunlight Museum opened its doors to the public in August 2006 replacing the long-serving Heritage Centre on Greendale Road.

Offering state-of-the-art audio-visuals, tablets, listening consoles and interactives, the museum tells the story of past village social history through a time-line of facts and fascinating film footage, giving an in-sight into characters who lived and worked in Port Sunlight. Take a look at the large scaled model of the village and see a typical Port Sunlight house reduced down to model proportions, plus see the vast array of historical items on display in cases from the village’s past.
