Beale Park Wildlife Park and Gardens

Beale Park’s the place to be with fun, adventure, animals, gardens, play and activities on the banks of the picturesque River Thames.

Beale Park was founded in 1956 by Gilbert Beale who created the Child Beale Trust, a charitable organisation, dedicated to the care and conservation of rare and endangered animals.

Beale Park is home to a diverse collection of animals. Popular favourites include: Ring-tailed lemurs, wallabies, meerkats, raccoons, prairie dogs, yellow mongoose, river hogs, monkeys, goats and numerous small mammals in our Pets’ Corner.

Beale Park is home to and cares for more than 120 species of birds. The Park has one of the UK’s largest owlerys, a walk-through aviary and bird hide, and is involved in numerous conservation projects dedicated to the protection and breeding of rare and endangered species.
